Re: disabled car
Hi Ray It would appear that I possibly have a disabled car from the descriptions on here and the keen eyes of some other club members. See my P.O.S. post in restorations here http://www.mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=40187 Photo 2 shows the door cards Photo 4 you can just make out the handle f...

Re: Meet P.O.S.
Always happy to hear things like that. So happy in fact I have just joined the MMOC and await my entry into the members area. Glad I never chopped her up now........... My wife was the saving grace here. She has good taste and said it can be her little shopper run a round.

Re: Meet P.O.S.
Hi Chris She has been stood there for 2 years now. I have turned her over though and she started with relative ease. Other than a blow from the exhaust where it joins the manifold, she is pretty sweet. Before putting her there I jacked her up and backed all the brakes right off and each wheel turns ...

Re: Meet P.O.S.
Thanks ASL. The dip switch is much better of the floor. I will be more sympathetic and move it again when finished, but I used to move them on the old Series 2 Landrovers as well as they always rotted away on the floor.

Re: Stolen 2 Cycles
I have just spoken to a friend of mine who works for a well known insurance company. He told me you do not have to have a photo of your bikes, it is a ploy they use to squirm out. As long as you have a crime reference number it will suffice. It is down to the insurance company to deal with the Polic...

How origional am I?
I have more info in the restoration area under Meet P.O.S. I would like to find out how original she is and is it the correct reg, engine etc for the car. She is a 1966 (A magical year) 2 door saloon. LLH 922 D, not sure if that is the original plate yet. And spent most of her life in the Porstmouth...

Meet P.O.S.
P.O.S. (A term of endearment she has picked up) came to visit me 2 years ago and never left. She was parked in the garden with the intent of becoming a novelty chicken coop, but was considered to offensive as the chickens would not go anywhere near her. She is a 1966 (A magical year) 2 door saloon. ...

Any enthusiast in the Peterborough area.
Evening all Any enthusiast in the Peterborough area. I have just obtained a 66 Moggie that needs a new floor, front and back I think. Would really appreciate someone with good knowledge to look it over before I order parts and begin cutting. I will trade knowledge for bacon butties and brews. I woul...
