Re: three pairs of hands

Well. Fuel consumption should be ok, I left a gap between the roof and the visor so air can pass through. That way it shouldnt get torn off. As for the sun, good point. The tips on rotating photos are useful too thanks. I bought it from Tom Roy. It was painted, as was the car by Andy Denhams paint s...

three pairs of hands

Just in case you are thinking of fitting a sun shade, first make sure you have 3 pairs of hands, 2 people at least to hold it in place and a spare pair for fiddly bits. Holding a grub screw, while winding in a bolt and balancing clamps, supporting the shade, without scratching the paint work, is a r...

Re: Pins in tyres

I have fitted a dash cam to my daily. Around £150 quid at Halfords. Then I fitted a warning sticker to each window. That was about a year ago. I've had no bother since.
The sticker in the rear window puts tail gaters off too.
It may seem expensive. But I consider it money well spent.

Re: 1950s / 1960s UK country driving video

Hi, Thought you might like to see this. Plenty of Minors amongst many other classics, see how many you can identify. It is an old film and there is a blank bit at about 10:06 (on the counter) but bear with it and the film resumes fairly quickly. I believe it leads into other period UK driving video...
