On closer inspection it looks like the copper wire has had the end cut off...does this mean that it is not usable now?
Also regarding the digital guage..the red wire connects to a switchable power source..as in ignition on off source?

My heater in my moggie still blows more air in through the lower vent/lever area on the heater box even when the setting is on the screen,I have less blow to the screen. Is there an adjustment or do I just put some sponge across the lower bit to try to transfer more blow to the screen? I hope Im mak...

Ive noticed yesterday that when my lights are on,the left headlamp is dim and also the side lamp lights up the indicator instead.

Unfortunately Its been confirmed as lower end bearing noise.I have either a replacement engine or I can buy some shells depending on what sort of job it is?

The rattle is certainly more apparent when screwdriver listening on the rocker cover end nearest to the rear of the engine.
When I listen going forward of the car the noise isn't there.

exhauset is fine,no blows..or marbles lol I will try the screwdriver check as a stethoscope.

Ive reset the tappets and also fitted an oil pressure guage.The oil guage shows excellent pressure.
The ticking noise sounds as though it is from the rear of the engine internally.It doesn't have the harshness of a bigend noise.

Its more of a top end rattle rather than bigend.I haven't got an oil pressure guage unfortunately.

I have had a ticking noise suddenly appear which is only apparent when the engine revs are raised or when the engine is under load. It is like a tappet type of noise and I would be grateful of any advice please.

Well Ive taken all of the fabulous advice for removeal (thank you all) and I have replaced the seals with new ones.
I just want to confirm that from the pedal end rod that you cant move this by hand before I refit the cylinder?

I need to remove my brake master cylinder and the nuts are so seized on the pipeinside the chassis. I was thinking of cutting the pipe going into the chassis so that I can remove the master cylinder in order to replace the seal kit on it.I can then make a join into the pipe for refitting.Has anybody...
