Have just tried to renew my RAC membership and claim my MMOC discount. I quoted the code printed in Minor Matters (GE0538) but this is not recognised as a valid code by RAC renewals. At the moment there is NO discount code for the club.
Could someone from MMOC admin look into this please.

Re: Unusual places people stop to talk about your Minor
On a recent trip to a local garden centre, I did "the usual" and parked the traveller carefully,in a remote corner of the car park, miles from any other vehicle. On my return there was a bevy of Chinese ladies making a fuss of my moggie. Not one of them spoke English and I certainly don't ...

Good morning all, I may be asking the impossible but here goes....... We have a 1970 Traveller and the interior mirror has seen better days. Could anyone point me in the direction of a new mirror assembly for the old girl. It's a three screw fitting, in chrome if at all possible. I have looked at a ...

Hmmm.....definately with you on that one, although the Giant Custard Creams sold in Costa Coffee, could prove to be a bit of a challenge!simmitc wrote:Who said anything about nibbling? The CC will fit the mouth in one piece

The answer to this is obvious.......
A letter in the Daily Mail today, moaning about the costs of modern motoring. The writer complains about the cost and difficulty of basic jobs. e.g. On some models, the wheel and inner wheel arch have to be removed to change a bulb, removing a front wing to get to the alternator, and the problems of...

Another speedo problem.
Morning all! We have a 1970 Traveller, the speedometer itself is working fine but, the mileometer seems to have jammed. It was rolling over to exactly 85000 miles and then stopped. Just wondered if there was an easy "quick fix" for this, or am I looking at changing the whole speedo head? T...
