Hi gearbox on a 1949 MM is the same gearbox fitted to a series e Morris 8
Mine is jammed in 4th gear after attending a classic car show today

Hi Rob
Yes the back of the seat with the material on a card backing is sown to the front section of the seat material i was thinking the best way is you mentioned is to secure in place with tacks and cover with Hidem a banding ?

Hi Rob Just got a price from Newtons they want £1100 plus vat to fit the covers to both front seats Don't think so have to fit ourselves How did you fit the rear panel to the seats on the old ones they have been stitched to the front section and appear to be the same for the kit from Newtons Any hel...

I have a 1949 mm
Going to have to replace roof lining
On stripping out the old one the centre roof section is plywood the two side sections are the same material as door cards like flexible card
Should they all be plywood ?

I have a four door 1954 it has four retaining bars for roof lining
I think the later cars only had three securing bars and the front of the lining was secured to a plywood board
