free off the bush and glue it in the rubber and the rubber into the bracket then the odd drop of oil sorted

i have got the one for my 55 s2 in the envelope with the oxford post mark , i was going to claim last year when a bonnet moulding clip broke i thought it was poor only lasting 66 years !!!!

they have a metal core then foam padding and leather covers , effectively round and turning slightly oval where they meet the door

my s2 june 55 has the round type and are bolted through the trim and door frame to remove them you have to unclip the top of the trim fold it gently back and squeeze your arm down to un do them , i have tried to post pictures but no luck

my 55 s2 4 door has factory rear arm rests i think they were part of the deluxe package interesting to get off they bolt from inside the door through the trim panel

hi i just wondered if a good supplier of engine / gearbox mounting rubbers has been found yet , i have drilled one new engine mount and still have a 65 year old one going strong but at some point i need replacements

over adjustment can cause this as the drums heat up they expand and stick on the brakes , i went through a similar issue which i found was caused by weak brake shoe return springs worth a try especially if the springs are fairly new and likely to be of poor quality
