Re: Hello From Me and Ted

I'm used to grovelling around with oily bits and a welding set but my woodworking skills are usually confined to putting up shelves, but I finally started prodding at Teds soft bits. Before I knew it this http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t309/panky_2007/Ted/Teds%20Timber/2014-08-25131046.jpg tuned...

Re: What have I bought???

I think there's a size limit to the picture files, yours might be too large. Try again after re-sizing them.

Re: miss fire 1098

Did you replace the rotor arm? I had electronic points fitted and the car conked out on me. As luck would have it this happened on the busiest round a bout in town so I was under a bit of pressure and did the easiest thing I could and put the old rotor arm back in - bingo it fired up, I don't trust ...

Re: Starter Motor

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago. I gave the starter a few taps with a spanner and it worked - for a while, new starter motor brushes cured it. If it's the same after charging the battery give it a whack (starter not battery)

Re: Hello From Me and Ted

Ted's a more laid back kind of guy, you chuck stuff in the back and it's like - whatever :D He is getting a bit twitchy though as he's been in the shed for a couple of weeks and I'm driving around in my Commer camper, just working myself up to sorting out those soft bits on his woodwork. Got a nice ...

Re: Moss

Moss do surprise me as I always thought they were more expensive than other suppliers (must be the glossy ads) but when I was looking for a pair of quarterlight mirrors Moss came in the cheapest, almost half the price of anyone else but still great quality. Always try them first now.

Re: Gaydon Motor Museum.

Hi there. I was at the Gaydon show too, I was riding shotgun on the Commer fire engine, I did have a quick squint at your van as we scurried past to get a bacon butty in the nice warm, dry café inside the museum. I really enjoyed the show, despite the weather, and we are already planning to go again...

Hello From Me and Ted

Hello chaps, My name is John and I am the very proud owner of Ted the Traveller, named after my late Father who owned one back in the day. He was very proud of his three year old rose taupe 1966 model but was very disappointed when at it's first MOT they found the rear floor and spring hangers where...
