Engine Breather Mod

I had a go at replacing the material in the crankcase 'chimney' I had a spare so it was dissected and the grotty mess scooped out. Although it was, mostly, intact it was solid with gunk https://i.imgur.com/1lyxYft.jpg After a clean and paint https://i.imgur.com/GqPpgUG.jpg £3 for six off Ebay, stain...

Re: Improved rear lights

That looks great :tu1: I used a different approach and fitted LED units into the reflector holders, it meant drilling the pillars for the mounting stud and wiring though. That along with new conventional stop/tail bulbs, with the holders painted with a chrome spray, made quite a difference. https://...

Re: Garage lights

I fitted these Ebay panels a couple of years ago https://i.imgur.com/HKd0nNu.jpg And these strip LEDs to the workshop end https://i.imgur.com/G6BeajF.jpg So far no problems and they give off a nice even light. I'll be fitting a couple more of the panels on the other side when the Commer is finished ...

Re: Brakes

There are a couple of different ratio servos around, usually 1.7 and 1.9. It could be that the servo you have is too powerful for the weight of the car.

Re: underated 1098?

I fitted a 12G940 head off a 1275 Mini to my standard 1098 block. There can be exhaust valve to block face clearance issues which can be sorted in a few ways:- recessing the valves, pocketing the block or, as in my case, skimming the valve faces ( I was lucky as the head hadn't been slimmed so very ...
