Hi sorry everyone for the late reply i ran out of mobile data as i was using my phone. The reason behind it was that i flooded my carb. Thanks for all the help though I appreciate it.

I havent had a look at the speedo when tring to move but it was going round when i was being towed. It does roll when its in neutral. It doesnt work in any gears and there is about 1" free play in the clutch pedal (is this bad news).

That yellow cable is a direct connection fro the battery terminal to the car radio but I am thinking of getting rid of it as I never use it. I might look into moving the rubber pipe in the future but at the moment it has no damage to it and as far as I know it been here from new.

Hi I was unscrewing the indicator cover and loosening the steering rack bracket near the top to try to get the indicator to self cancel when for some reason the horn went off and so I rotated the indicator back to its original position and then the horn went off but now I cant get it to work. I have managed to fix the speedo just by tapping it like you said. Thanks for the advice it must have been a bit of dirt or something.
