Thanks for the advice all, Marina discs it will be. I am replacing the brake pipes with kunifer while I am at it.

Thanks for the info. The servo is for the wife's benefit so will be fitting one. I had a servo on another minor and she preferred it :D

This may have been covered before but I can't seem to find the answers in a search. Don't see why that would help getting it into 3rd, I think it is terminal in this case

Swap the gearbox is the best bet. You can pick them up quite cheap but obviously don't pay much for untested ones.

I fitted the kit from ESM earlier this year and it works really well. I have front spot lights and a rear fog light. I intend to fit a few more extras over time to help with the lovely fog and rain we get down here

I can see it would be very off putting to ask for help when you read some of the responses people get. I know there is a search function but it is not very user friendly especially when you get hundreds of results for a common word search. I personally find if I can't find the answer via the search ...
