Re: Real Ale selection at the National Rally 2016!

£3.50 for Real Ale is very good and Happy Hour even better, the beer in our village is around the £3.80 mark where
I lived before the Nags Head at Low Bradfield £2 a pint. The Bradfield Micro Brewery owns the pub.

Re: Insurance quotes.

Just Classic Insurance with no breakdown cover.

I received an email from Footman James with this years premium the £147, I did a new online quote and got
cover with them for £75. Very strange.

Re: Insurance quotes.

As some other members have said, my Footman James renewal letter came the other day.

£147. 34p for the same cover as the previous year which was only £70.

I went online and got it for £75. So you need to shop around to get the best deal for yourself.

Could someone please point(pun not intended) me in the right direction for a set of

Re: Who owns the Morris name?

I hope I do not cock a doodle diddley things up by trying to add a picture. Francophile I am afraid to say and the only stowaways in my van on it's return will be copious bottles and boxes of wine together with large tins of duck, which is delicious. The van will be locked and sealed with the dog on...

Re: Calais

We love France and have a holiday home in the Correze, we have great neighbours and friends, our daughter went to the village school for 6 months and on her return meets up with her French friends. Great to visit the Vide Greniers (Car Boot) and all the local markets, the Friday night Farmers & ...

Calais

I am not sure how the ongoing problems can be solved, but being rather selfish I just hope that when we travel using the Tunnel it is without hold ups and clear. You wait all year for your break and then some outside influence tries to bugger you up (Yorkshire saying), my mum 99 years old and our Ne...

Re: Who owns the Morris name?

It's amazing how we sell off our Historic Companies to foreign companies. Just because Europe told to have an open trade system, we obeyed and started selling, the French and Germans didl not let go of their utilities and other assets Is there anything out there that we still own ? All the red telep...

Tyres (again)

Sorry for bringing the delicate subject of tyres up yet again but having trawled through the numerous posts on the subject I am no wiser. Normal for me I suppose. I have found some replacement tyres 155 x 80 x R14 The ones that are on at the moment are showing as 145 x R14 76T One member stated he h...
