The lenses were used on various cars and I think with different plinths. I have seen them on MGA and Triumphs I think so the lenses fit the plinths but the plinths may be different according to make/ model. Got to agree with you Declan, I saw a Minor at Gaydon which had the original carpet in the centre around the handbrake and although threadbare and faded it was clearly of much better pile and feel than the modern ones wherever they come from. I’m sure Chris won’t mind me letting you know but I have seen a draft and it is an extremely useful document even with its gaps which Chris has been trying to plug .
