Re: 'Dieselgate' it ain't getting any better

If this is the company I think it is then I can say we've had no problems with our car after the update. We even got a free valet service for getting it updated.

Re: Petrol and diesel ban by 2040

We'll be fine for petrol/diesel, it's just we'll have to get it in cans rather than from a filling station. Electric engines still need oil for lubrication as well, so as long as the modern engines need oil, we'll still get the petrol/diesel from the refining process. Saying that, even if the cars d...

We had one of those today in the Morris. Made a small chip barely noticeable, but took the paint off right down to the metal. Some idiot trying to race another idiot.

Spitfire Lead Replacement

Just wondering if anyone has ever used Spitfire lead replacements? Are they any good? If not, then other suggestions are accepted. Here's a link to it: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Spitfire-Fuel- ... B00J227QKO
Thanks in advance.

Re: Foreign hackers/wasters

I know what you mean. I thought that people had been very active today and got all excited, but then it turned out to be some person who had joined just over an hour ago just to spam the same things. The question is, why us?

Re: Seat Material

Thank you for replying so quickly! I am contemplating buying new seats with my father and just wanted to check (for authenticity, of course). I will bear this in mind when the time comes.

Seat Material

Hello everybody, I was just cleaning out the interior of my '68 two door (which is a deluxe model) and was confused as to which material the seats are made from. I know that they should be leather but these ones looked like vinyl. So I was wondering, by the time my car was produced (August 1968) did...

Re: Air Filters

Well, I have the car back now and I can confirm it is a John Cooper air filter. How it got in there I have no idea... my only guess is that a previous owner used it as an upgrade.

Re: Air Filters

I haven't got it right now (it's in the workshop getting a paint job), but from what I can remember it said 'John Cooper' on it. I might be wrong though, I'll check when I get it back.

Air Filters

Hello everybody. I was looking in my '68 2-door saloon and I noticed that there was a John Cooper air filter. It left me wondering whether it may have been fitted in the factory or not, because John Cooper was working with Morris at that time to produce the Mini Cooper. Any ideas?
