I have a 1968 2 door saloon, and I have developed a rattle under the drivers side of the car, only on bumpy roads, sometimes it fills as if it is right under the drivers seat, I have removed the wheel and had a good check around but nothing seems obvious, it has been suggested it could be wear in th...

Tyre size
At the moment I have 145/14 tyres on my 1968 saloon, the walls of the tyres are cracking so need to replace them all, 155/14 seem to have more choice and start at a cheaper prices, any advice would be appreciated

Re: Coil wire connections
Thanks for all the replies, we had a maintenance day at my local branch today, and it was confirmed as in John's post above, it was the green yellow wire that someone must have thought was about the right length to connect to the coil, I have owned the car for two years, thankfully it never caused a...

Electronic ignition
I was thinking of fitting electronic ignition to my 68 saloon, but went to a show at the weekend and two minors fitted with accuspark failed, on one the engine was missing, the other would not start, both converted back to points and running ok, is this common, do other members use these modules and...

Oil filter conversion
Hi
I am about to do the first engine oil and filter change since owning my minor, a new filter from ESM is £8 with pp a conversion kit for a screw on filter including filter is £35 with pp , my question is, is there any advantage to the conversion for the extra money, and is the kit easy to fit
