Re: Traveller Restoration

Very good; I hadn't seen it before. Not sure the new colour was Almond Green; it looked a bit bright to me. Each to his own. i note (and had heard it before) that you cannot buy the Traveller wood direct from the joinery.

I also pay another £9.38 for legal cover for the two cars. Insurer is RH Specialist Insurance with ERS. I am fairly ancient and live in Wiltshire. The ...

Re: Popping out of 1st

Mine has the same problem, jumping out under acceleration. It nearly jumps into second, which would have its benefits. Rebuild by a well-advertised supplier. Unfortunately I bought it during a major refurbishment and it was well out of warranty (and out of the country) by the time I finished the job...

Re: Paint colours!

Looks pretty like Almond Green to me. but I think the norm was for the wheels to be either Ivory/Old English White, or Silver, depending on the year of manufacture. mind you, if you have blue inside and green outside, that really doesn't matter.

We use Liberon: stain first, then Finishing Oil, which leaves a really good, hard surface.

Re: Ramipril cough

I had the same problem with Ramipril. I asked for a change, and they gave me another in the same 'family' of drugs; that was no better. i settled on Losartan and have had no cough in the several years since.
