At one show they had a Fiat 500 on display that was competley galv'd. Paul H

If you look at Volvo's in the scrap yards you will find the older models (240 / 740) had underbonnet and boot lights that the switch is built in as it's a mercury tilt item.

Cold? 2) How does the kick-down cable come out of the 'box (too short)? 3) Anyone have a workshop manu...

When I sold my Land Rover Discovery the buyer wanted me to see if I could arrange transportation so I simply looked on eBay and numerous firms offering services. In the end it was a firm who transported cars for the motor trade and collected te Disco on a return trip with an otherwise empty tranport...

New keeper slip OK but don't fall into the same problem as I had last year with the MGB in that DVLA records not up todate re. previous keeper. Make sure the V5 shows the name (& address) of the person you are buying off, unless from a dealer, otherwise DVLA will need to confirm with PO that it'...

To convert to LHD you need a RHD MG Midget rack.
Swop over tie rods for Minor items and turn upside down for an orignal spec LHD Minor rack.

I used to have an expenive Karcher pressure washer that suffered from frost damage. Repairable but not worth the cost of parts alone (3 pistons needed at £29 each & £50 seals kit :-? )so I bought a cheap one for around £70 from Aldi. Turns out the Aldi one is made by Karcher and is actually a fa...

The Cortina axle, isn't that a few inches wider than the Escort one ( trouble with wheel selection ?) I think it might be as well. A neigbour used to race a MKII Escort superstock or whatever. For a whole season he hauled around a spare axle only to find it was a MKI Capri item and too wide. I beli...

The late "base" models used the 1400cc K Series.
Might be worth checking out further as it could save a DIY adaptation ?
