National Rally One Day Visit Cost?
I am considering attending the National Rally to see family and friends but cant find out what it will cost to get in for a few hours on the Sat or Sun. How much will it cost to enter the National Rally? I dont wish to show a car or enter a car, just park up and look around? I have spent the last 20...

Re: Want to be a TV Star this Friday
I was asked on Tuesday and as always with TV it is short notice and expectation to do things `because it is tv`.
Anyway I had a valid excuse as I do not own a Minor.
I will watch to see who is on.

Re: Mazda MX5 engine conversion
The mx5 engine is quite long so would require bulkhead mods.
I do know of a Minor being built with a mx5 engine box and also the suspension.

Re: Advice wanted on Bulkhead Sound Proofing
We used to leave most of the original bulkhead in position and just put a new sheet over the top. The first ones were bonded on with filler and the inner wing plus the throttle cable holder kept it in place. Welding was avided as Robin wanted to avoid distortion. I would now recommend Sikaflex to bo...

Old Peculiar, pulled from the wood, in Yorkshire served at room temperature. I am surprised OP has not been mentioned as it must surely be the top ale of all time.

Re: UJ circlips
First give the yokes a tap with a hammer. Push the uj cap in as far as it will go in a vice with a socket etc. There will always be a bit of play. Tap the yoke when pushing the cap as the yoke can bend. Tapping will make it spring back. Now try to tap the circlip so it is loose. You may be able to pu...

Re: Fiat 2ltr twin cam
What does the tacho read at tickover?
Where does the tacho pick up the signal from and what ignition system are you running?
My first thought would be the tacho is faulty.

Re: National Rally photos
The great thing is we all like these cars (notice how I did not say Morris Minors in case I upset somebody....) for different reasons.

For sale: Fiat Twin Cam Parts
Not sure if this is the correct forum for this as I did not think it would be suitable for the normal for sale forum as it is not really Morris Minor stuff. I have for sale lots of Fiat Twin Cam gaskets, oil seals etc. Full list and pictures http://www.beardmorebros.co.uk/website%20pages/for_sale_Fi...

We have used an All agro (Allegro) bench seat in a pickup. I would imagine it would be harder to find an Allegro now than actually fit it.

Toyota Hi Lux Based 4x4 Minor. AnybodyKnow it?
We are trying to trace the owner of a Toyota Hi Lux based Minor pickup (??) with lots of custom wood that was at the National Rally at Kelmarsh Hall in about 2007. Anybody know of this vehicle and who the owner is? We gave out a custom trophy that was supposed to be returned every year but have not ...

Re: Unusual rear tyre wear.
Thanks chaps for your replies, I have other people say the axle could be bent, but to bend an article built that solid I think it would do a lot more damage to other parts of the car. I think maybe the wheels were fitted to the front originally as you suggest and will take the appropriate action to...
