Resurrecting a very old post, but would like to thank Millerman for his very useful suggestion of creating 'right angles' on the stay bars.

Took all of 10 minutes with an angle grinder, and now have doors that stay open perfectly!!!

I can only say that I recently visited Steve at Woodies, as I bought the traveller they restored and used at shows to publicise their wood work. I was very impressed with the set up. I have the form for membership of the Essex Group from Vicki Merrick, but not got round to sorting it yet. I am thinking of coming along to the AGM meeting which I believe is 26th November?
