Ive regained almost full motion in my jaw and lips and can almost speak normally again. Also, i was finally able to put some weight o...

Hey all, thanks again for the kind words. I've gone through the accident over and over in my mind- it just happened so fast that i don't know what else i could have done. My girlfriend's father is a firefighter and he said that missing the beam was important because he has seen a lot of cars flipped...

Serious car accident in my '51 Morris Minor
I was driving back to my college yesterday- i was in the left lane doing 65 mph in my 4age powered Morris Minor. A truck in front of me dropped a very large steel beam right into my lane. I knew that if i hit it it would have flipped my car. I quickly swerved to the right into the other lane just in...

I have changed gearboxes in the ol' morry quite a few times. I can attest to how much it sucks. Timeline: 2006- pulled stock sidevalve gearbox out - put 1275 and ribcase 4 speed in -1 day later, pulled ribcase 4 speed out as it had a bad 2 gear -1 day later, put another ribcase 4 speed in 2007 - 2nd...

Any MGB pump I have seen is a good bit larger! Also - it's a 'pusher' pump, not a 'sucker' as required for standard Minor installation. The normal SU electric pump works with either voltage ground - it's only the 'electronic' pumps that have this polarity problem. I used an mgb pump with my 1275. W...

Hey Maverick, the 4age makes for a pretty cool and reliable engine in the morris- i think you made a good choice. Fitting the 4age is pretty straightforward, although like all EFI engine conversions, it requires a good deal of work. The nice thing about this conversion is that the body does not to b...

If you dont mind me asking, if you are planning on modifying the front end so much and setting the motor back by 200-300 mm, what is stopping you from putting a more powerful engine in? The Beams 3sge would be a good motor, or even the KA24DE. The Beams blacktop claims 210 hp N/A, and its only 2 lit...
