just the exhaust throats will do it and certainly no polishing! It does no good.
Is this true for i thought that gettin a smooth flow of fuel air into and out of the engine was important? i have been doing the Mr vizard on my head. I would hate to think i have wasted my time.

is there any way of making the bottom end stronger?

hey there could anybody give me advice on this subject, i have a 1098 and 948 engines. I read somwhere on here that you can put the crank of the 1098 into the 948 and you get 998?is this true, or is it far too much work. What con rods would i use and pistons. Also the 948 block needs boring out how ...

I had a mechanic once, he used parrifin on the filter. he well and truly wreck that filter on me. Needless to say i don't use that mechanic anymore. so my advice do what it says on the tin,
Your filter would have cost a few bob, £14 costs a lot less than a new filter.

I do any grinding, drilling sanding, compressor running etc inside the garage with the doors shut. I've also asked the neighbours if they are disturbed by the noise. What does valve bounce feel like?
Dont know what it feels like, but it sounds terrible. you just think the engine is going to explode, which it probably could, so you would be better to only rev it to 4500 to 5000 rpm

why not go for the 2L zetec engine,nice set of throttle bodies mapped ignition the works. oops sorry began to drool a bit there :D :D on a serious note waste of time and money to fit a v4. 1300 crossflow is a good starting point plenty available.
