Re: solar panel
Thanks Phil.
My mate has got a camper van with 3 Leisure batteries connected together. Would one of these solar panels charge them all?
I know nothing about this sort of thing.

solar panel
Is there a solar panel that can be propped in the window of a minor that will charge the battery on a car that is not in regular use?
Thanks.
John
Thanks.

Two full time 6 month courses at a Skillcentre in the 90s. One in fabrication and one in welding.

Re: we have a problem
I am delighted that the technical posts are very busy Keith. For those of us that don't do facebook etc. this forum is vital.
It is just a shame that some off topic posts are met with sarcasm, ridicule and general rudeness, isn't it?
Who says I am back Les?

Re: we have a problem
I looked in today expecting there to have been a bit of a pile on in the last week. Strangely, there has not. I started this post expecting there to be a bit of interesting discussion. Instead, it conked out, and there have been no new 'off topic' posts. Parts of this forum seem to be dying out; whi...

That's a good one.
Nobody wants to talk about the loony subject, so let's leave it there.
I won't post on here again.

Re: we have a problem
There you are you see..17 posts and counting. Of course it is a serious post Les. I was excited in 1969 to think that there were men walking on the Moon. A lot has happened since then to make me think that it was fake. At the time I remember hippies handing out leaflets stating that the distance was...

Re: we have a problem
This forum is lacking a lot... Really? 'Promoting the preservation and use of the postwar Morris Minor' is the mission statement at the head of this board and, in my experience at least, it achieves those aims admirably. Or am I merely the victim of another conspiracy? I think this is an excellent ...

Re: we have a problem
Not you as well Simon! I don't think the Clangers lived on the moon. (?) Let me expand, and see if anyone sensible wants to comment. Recently, several Countries have failed to land unmanned craft on the Moon; over 50 years after the USA claimed to have landed manned craft successfully more than once...

I used to like Bill and Ben. It comes as a shock to me that they were artificially created. Don't tell me the Woodentops were not real either.

There are a lot of technically gifted people on here...I hope this post is allowed to run.
Isn't it about time that the USA admitted that no human has ever walked on the moon, and that the Apollo 'missions' were filmed on Earth, and that the whole thing was a Cold War propaganda exercise?

Re: dual circuit brakes
I tried it 35 years ago with a Fiat 124 (?) master cylinder. The cylinder fitted into the chassis rail just like a minor one, and used the same pedal and push rod set up. It had a remote filler, and split the drum brakes front and back. One day the brakes seized on, and I removed it and went back to...
