Re: Go on then….

Yes I’d say so. Although I’m guessing it has to be self contained and not wired anywhere as it would render the door useless if there were any connections to the vehicle.

Re: Go on then….

Looking at the hole I don’t thing it was home made unless some owned a steel press. I guess I’m in the market for a badge to fill the hole if it’s not a standard option. That or take the door away altogether.

Go on then….

What goes in here??? I’m thinking maybe some sort of wind up clock. The glove box door still works although I don’t think it’s original on my 1955 convertible. Neither is the engine or speedo either :D

Cheers

I’ll set that as a task for next time. As well as checking the originality of everything. It all looks ok but I haven’t been around as long as the car ( and I’m retired !! )

Re: Hood frame, rear window frames

OK thanks, I'm thinking of getting some adhesive felt stuff to fasten to the bars or window frame as a bit of protection... the stuff I want isn't felt really but I'll be damned if I know what it is called?? that stuff that is used for sticking under furniture to stop it scratching wood floors !! :P
