Thank you everyone for your help. The hot wire was indeed because I did not realise I replugged the wires on the horn on the same terminal. I soldered the other end of the wire in as you showed and it’s working perfect.

Horn push help
Hi all I have a non functioning horn and think it’s the push. I have an early 3 spoke wheel on a 1970 minor which makes it more confusing. It’s been working on an off, and mostly off. I’ve checked there is power to the horn and that’s ok, then I’ve checked continuity from the horn on t6e other wire ...

Hi, fuel was the problem I hope as all is well now. I took the carb off and found jelly type stuff in the bottom of the float bowl. A quick strip and clean with a carburettor cleaner and she is running superbly. Just need to try her in hot weather, just in case. Many thanks for your suggestions.

Hi all, My Minor 1098 1968 model is playing up. She starts perfectly, revs fine with power pulling out of the garage, but if I leave it ticking over for 5 minutes then jump in to drive away, it can’t rev and has no power at all, but it will still tick over.
