So you see where it says it sits proud by 2.4mm does that mean it is above The sump face by 2.4mm at each side of the U gasket.

See how you are saying the 2.4mm and the other ones is that got to sit 2.4mm above or cut down so it’s below the level

Yebits cork and no I didn’t put it in oil should I?

Hi I am just wondering if anyone could help me I put a new gasket in for my sump but it is still leaking at the 2 curves and is dripping down both sides I don’t know if I maybe put them in wrongly possibly cut them wrongly.
