Correct wing mirrors
Is anyone able to tell me which shape of mirrors should be mounted on the wings of my ‘56 SII two-door?
It currently has oblong ones fitted but I’m not sure whether these are correct or whether they were originally round...
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Flashing indicators and trafficators
I concur that a darn good clean will most likely sort them out. See Section N30 but also P9 in the manual. P9 details the lubrication process, but it needs to be clean first. Re: Flashing indicators and trafficators
Further to all the info above, my trafficators do not go all the way up (and therefore do not light up) and neither do they go all the way back into the cavity. They do light up when i push them into 'full up' position though!
Does anyone here know of a way to fix this issue?

Search for 'classic car Lucas indicator switch' or 'LUCAS SPB120', there's both black and white available.

Now that I like ( a bit similar to my own place in the pecking order) - I assume that, if you had a 2CV instead, you'd be 'Cato'.Myrtles Man wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2019 12:37 pm [quote=Hastings - I'm just the simple sidekick to my cars!

Re: Flashing indicators and trafficators
My ‘56 SII has both traficators & flashing indicators running off the same dash mounted (white) switch. A couple of questions arise: Shouldn’t the switch be on the right hand side of the wheel (and brown)? There are a couple of little holes either side of a bigger hole on the far right of the da...

Hi all, I have just acquired a ‘56 SII two door and thought I would post a quick message to say hello. I’ve spent the last couple of days reading through the forum and have picked up a fair amount of needed info from the vast range of posts here. I’m new to Minors but have had a fair few classics, I...
