Re: Help! Convertible Bj.1955 Rear leaf Spring 5 or 7

I have asked ESM for the leaf thickness of the 5 and 7 leaf springs. The thickness of both is 1/4''. Since the original 7 leaf springs only had a thickness of 7/32'' (like mine), I will install the 5 leaf springs, especially since it will be a bit tighter with new PU bushings.

Re: Help! Convertible Bj.1955 Rear leaf Spring 5 or 7

Thank you very much for your answer. If I understood correctly, the early convertibles (like mine) were equipped with 7 blades, which were softer than the later 7 blades. Since I am more of a leisurely driver and only drive with a maximum of 2 people, would you advise me to go for 5 blades in conjun...

Help! Convertible Bj.1955 Rear leaf Spring 5 or 7

Hello together. At the risk of being ridiculed, I would like to ask you the following question. On my Convertible, built in 1955, some bushes of the rear leaf spring are torn out and need to be replaced. I am thinking of replacing all the bushes with PU bushes. I would buy a complete kit with leaf s...

Does anyone have a tip for me regarding the location of the holes. According to my idea, I would put the ...

Re: Waxing Doorsill

I have removed the outer bar. Went without problems because the screws were intact. But the kickstep does not go down, because a previous owner has welded the kickstep at both ends to the frame. See photos. Now there is probably nothing left but to drill from the inside. Do you have any tips on how ...

Re: Waxing Doorsill

First of all thank you for the answer
Is difficult with me. Could I drill two small holes inside instead and go in that way?

Waxing Doorsill

Hello, I am in the process of doing a cavity seal on my Morris Convertible. However, I have no idea how I get to both side skirts (Doorsill). I can not find an opening. I have removed the carpet from the side. Here also unfortunately no holes. Does anyone have a tip for me how I get in there?

Thanks
