Re: Smiths Emission Control Valve (ECV)
I failed to include a pic of the 1 and 1/2” carb and ECV upon installation but I’ve shown a pic of a similar installation. Re: Original reclining seat frame/drawings
Ebay is a good source but beware these are handed left and right and I received two of the same and had to replace one so a false economy!

I’ve a senior moment or three - just to check that I should connect the red charger clip to the red battery terminal likewise the black? ...

Yes I will need to go to a specialist fitter but I’m interested in members experience as well. I can’t be the only one! Thanks, John

Adaptations for disabled drivers
Are there any members who have had adaptations to their Morris Minor because of leg amputation? I’ve just had the op done (right leg) and don’t want to stop driving our Morris. Let me know please, thanks, John

Re: Original reclining seat frame/drawings
I have yet to complete this work but the only difference between standard covers and recliners are the parts of covers that go down the sides of the rear squab. As usual with Newton they are beautifully made and faithful to the originals in that there is a carpet strip to lower rear of the rear squa...

Battery induced corrosion
Found an accumulation of salts (?) between the positive terminal and battery retaining clamp see pic. I’ve cleaned this up but wonder what’s causing it, no leakage from terminal or cells can be seen? Thanks John
PS it’s negative earthed

Re: Original reclining seat frame/drawings
Excellent thanks for sight of. Some pics would be good too particularly of the handles? Mine were missing and would like the same pattern. I’ve bought new covers made by Newton and they have the correct carpet trim to the lower rear of the squab. Thanks, John

Re: MOT Exemption
Mine has been MOT’d this year and will be every year. I’m good mechanically and electrically but don’t have the knowledge regarding chassis/bodywork. The answer of course is to replace rust damaged areas when they appear but I’m not always sure what is load bearing and what is not. Happy Christmas o...

Speedos for classic Mini etc
Minispares have different types of speedo available including gearbox driven types. I particularly like the magnolia version. I wonder if anyone in MMOC has fitted these to a Morris Minor assuming that’s possible? Pics shown below out of interest. Also the market for Morris Minor spares seems differ...
