Slightly off-topic, but Sunbeam Talbot saloon cars have the front seats retained by spring-loaded push-in axle ends, a bit like a giant watch strap pin. The idea is that with a quick push of the fingers, the seats come out for use at picnics and other jolly outdoor activities.

OK, noted, but these bulbs operate just as well with dull otherwise unuseable reflector bowls. All the bowls need to do is hold the bulb in place.
