WXC 77 was issued in London early in 1959, probably in March or April. The WXC numbers were issued in blocks until July 1960. You cannot put the number on your car as it has to be transferred from a taxed and tested vehicle that can and will be inspected. The number is probably not on the DVLA regis...

Your reg number is not 'strange' but reasonably rare now. Older registration numbers started with a single letter before the number then two letters then finally three letters and three numbers.
