WXC 77 was issued in London early in 1959, probably in March or April. The WXC numbers were issued in blocks until July 1960. You cannot put the number on your car as it has to be transferred from a taxed and tested vehicle that can and will be inspected. The number is probably not on the DVLA regis...

Your reg number is not 'strange' but reasonably rare now. Older registration numbers started with a single letter before the number then two letters then finally three letters and three numbers. Ray, I used to own cherished plates JA 30 and JA 787 and both these are shown with subsequent owners so it does not look a definite policy for them to not show 'early' numbers.

65 LDT one of my cars which is taxed, tested and has been in continuous everyday use for years is not listed on the RAC site. Obviously 'less than perfect' on attention to detail!

Hi,
PWN is a genuine Swansea local number and PWN registrations ran from October 1968. It was probably registered late 1968 at the Swansea local motor tax office a long long time before DVLA came on the scene!.

Hi, CAS is definitely a fairly recently allocated re-registration and could be non transferable if it wasn't allocated as part of a cherished number transfer.
