National Rally 2023

I understand that next year’s National Rally will be held at Droitwich.
WHY do we NEVER have this rally further up in the country.
There are other Morris minor owners that live out with the southern part of England .

Valve Spring compressors??

Is there a tool for compressing the valve springs on the a series 1098 without in bolting the head?? To just change the valve control seals . Thanks

Head gasket reuse URGENT

Just torqued my head new gasket down and realised I have put the valve oil seals on wrong( on stem shaft instead of behind collet),so I need to take the head off. The engine hasn't been started. So can I reuse and torque the head down reusing this head gasket or will I need to fit another NEW one. I...

Do you anyone who works in a main car dealer? If you do they can run a full vehicle check which will 100% come back with the vin number,I know as a friend of mine did this for me for a mk2 escort last year . I could not find the vin plate either and the strut had been welded over so no chassic stamp...

Your classic number will be hand stamped ( not level) on the bulkhead below where the plate was . I don't mean directly below but below in that area. Check and you will find it. Maybe someone else can give you a better description of the hand stamping than I can

Looks like a 1967 onwards car mascarading as a 1955 car. Good possibility it's a stolen/ringed car.

I have a low milage engine that hasn't turned since 1976,when minor was only 6 years old. Kept in a dry garage.
