I used my adjustable reamer when I did mine many years ago, just made it a running fit.
You can borrow it if you need it, I live in South Yorkshire, but it will not cost a fortune to post it.
My original choke cable is notched, just twist it to lock it.
I suggest removing it to check if it is just jammed.
I repaired my inner cable, just unsoldered old one, and replaced with a copper earth cable.

I fitted the EMS EX126 2 piece mild steel exhaust, appears good quality.
I fitted it onto a unmarked 3 into 1, on a 1275 Midget engine.
I am satisfied with the results, for the price.
