Re: Dateless registration transfer

It is very easy ring a minor as they have no fixed VIN number and get a MOT that way.
I disappointed that the DVLA do not have system for you to report it.

Re: MM Gear knob on Ebay

The same seller on eBay has another gear Knob up for sale apparently off a 49 MM http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Morris-Minor-mm-gear-knob-/171096382815?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27d6239d5f Were the gear knobs made out of Bakelite as the one on my car has more of rubbery feel to it.

Re: Rear Brakes

I would think about getting a new Pair of brake drums as the old one could be worn out or the previous owner had them skimmed and they took to much off.

Re: Registration numbers for sale on ebay, MOT exempt.

It my understanding that pre 1960 cars must have an MOT before going back on the road and then will be exempt providing you keep it taxed and insured.

Where I think you if decide to squeeze a V8 in to your Moggie you have a report written by a TUV tec at great expense and then try and find insurance. Perhaps some of our Euro...
