Re: HEATER EFFECTIVENESS

They can get too hot I open/close the window to regulate the temp. also demist quite effective if open an inch or so.
I also sealed the gap between the dash vent & nozzle so its not wasting any air behind the dash which improved things

Re: MOT Exemption

I think doing away with any sort of testing on any roadgoing vehicle would be one of the stupidest things they could possibly do. the mot isn't perfect but at least everything meets a standard of roadworthiness as not everyone has the same care or even ability to know there car is unsafe etc. The ar...

Re: fitting disk breaks nd different axle?

other than the kits there are no disk brakes that will bolt straight on without some sort of fabrication . marina hubs will need special bearings & spacers to fit. I have marina on mine but did it years ago when they were readily available in scrapyards etc but some parts are getting scarce now....

Re: morris to ital engine

I used the Moggy box (& later type 9) when I did mine so the original mounts fit ok. I not sure but the towers may need shortening to lower the engine slightly to aid clearance with the marina box & steering rack

Re: morris to ital engine

The front plate from the minor will fit & is the usual method with the engine mounts.
Has the engine had the other conversions done, ie flywheel/ backplate etc or are you using the marina box
