I fitted and modified Ford Escort Estate rear bay cover - it needed to be reduced in length by about 2 inches, and it site behind the rear bench seat quite comfortably and covers the rear bay from prying eyes.

Traveller front seats.
Does anyone make front seat fixing brackets that allow the seat to go further back? i.e. a bracket with say three holes in it rather than the standard two?

Re: Ignition
Dear IslipMinor,
You got it in one! A faulty plug ( despite being from a reputable European manufacturer ) - I replaced it and all is well. This is the first time I have encountered this fault in over 60 years of motoring. You never stop learning!
Many thanks,
Rory.

Ignition
Currently my Morris Minor is only firing on three cylinders - Plug no. 2 is not firing and if you disconnect the plug lead it has no effect.
Have changed the plug lead, the distributor head and rotor arm without effect.
Any solutions please.
Rory.

Electronic Ignition Kits
I am looking to fit an electronic ignition kit to replace the points and condenser in my 1969 Traveller. There are several on the market, is there a preferred option by those who have fitted one of these kits to their car?

Fitting an alternator with an ammeter
I am intending to fit a new alternator in place of the present dynamo, and currently have an ammeter in circuit.
Where does it go in the alternator wiring - in the wire between the A terminal on the Control Box and the starter solenoid?
