Longer / deeper grease nipples
Hi, I have just finished greasing my nipples and, as usual, found the hardest ones to get a fix on were the ones on my prop-shaft U/J's. Firstly though I must point out that I have the 1275/type 9 prop-shaft fitted from the (excellent) kit supplied by the Morris Minor Centre Birmingham (or David Ma...

Re: A burnt out moggy
What other Moggie? (and why are we not allowed to discuss it??) Is there more of this going on?Much of this may apply to the other Moggy destroyed recently, which we're not allowed to discuss.
Regards,
Mike.

Those hockey sticks are fiddly to say the least, good luck, hope you don't skin your knuckles too much fitting them.
Hope you're still going to drive it, now it's this good...
Best wishes,
Mike.

Change the word Vandals to "Low life Scum". Seconded. Pointless to expect them to be caught but you can't help hoping that what they do unto others may be meeted out to them in the fullness of time. I can only express my sincerest sympathy. I hope the insurance company pays up without any...

Re: Smiths Speedo
I think 'Jowett' is right, in that the correct speedo for a 948 should only read up to 80, that said you can always get your gold one recalibrated. Check out the link below if you ever need to do this, I find him to be very good. By the way, what was the name of the scrapyard and where is it, someo...

Re: How do you use yours?
No, Minor's cannot be used on a daily basis after 31/12/99. From 1/1/00 the EU deemed the brakes inneffective + the engine too underpowered! EU ruling 542c (subsection 5d) reads; The Morris Minor should only be driven to & from vintage vehicle rallies. Ruling 547c (subsection 47g) Maximum speed...

Re: Lock up your Nuts
my guess would be that someone has had a bump at the rear / reveresed into a wall and just nicked everything to fit to there car. do you know of any other moggies close to you? I do hope you're wrong, I would hate to think a fellow Moggie owner would do that to someone :o . Will you be going to the...

Re: 53 Split Screen FINALLY OUT ON THE ROAD!!!
Hi Steve,
Sorry to hear that. Would of been nice if you had got to enjoy all that hard work a little, before life came along and kicked you in the b*******s!!
Still, I shall look out for it at the National in case it hasn't sold.
Best wishes,
Mike.

Hi Steve,
They have made a superb job of that polishing, like a dark mirror!
Will you be bringing it along to the National?
Best wishes,
Mike.

Re: Misty's post-accident re-build
Hi Matt, I have been reading / following this with interest and I have to say that I'm impressed as well. The young members group must be a great place to be, you certainly all seem to pull together. The car is looking really good, I shall keep an eye out for her at the national. Ironic that it too...

Re: hi everyone
Hi Russ, I hope you are a Minor enthusiast too, as I have seen several for sale recently, where classic cars were bought for son / daughter as a first car, only to find that they actually preferred a modern (no taste  ) and didn't want their parents gift. Mind you if this was a ruse to...

Hi,
I had a look on Charles Ware's site and it does list Glacier white as being an original colour option.
I must admit I thought it was a Ford colour......

Mike.

Re: White body Colours
Hi,
I would imagine that Glacier white would be the whitest and brightest of those, Old English white is a creamy colour, not sure of Snowberry white.
Others may know more.....
Best wishes,
Mike.

Re: WAXOYL in door panels???
Hi, Hammerite underbody seal with added waxoil is great for under the car but I find their waxoil itself a bit 'gloopy' and it doesn't seem to get into the nooks and crannys very well. Dinitrol is much better, though you may need to order online , as I haven't seen it on the shelf. I've included so...
