Hi
If anyone is still looking I have found the garage in Ruddington, on Easthorpe Street NG11 6LA to be very good and knowledgeable.

Gearbox and Speedo problems
Hi I have recently had my speedo overhauled. Once fitted everything eas fine for the first 40-50 miles on a long run then the speedo failed again. As it was under warranty I took it back and when opened we found there was agreat deal of oil present which just stopped the magnets doing their thing. T...

Help, please to id the correct speedo
Hi I have a 1969 1098cc Traveller, as far as I can tell it has a standard rear axle differential, but I am suspicious an incorrect speedo. It appears to be registering about 10 MPH more than it should at about 50 mph. As the traveller has different differential ratio to the 2 door saloon, I assume t...

Hi Steve
Are you still looking for additional companions, as my wife and I are very interested in joining you for what looks as if it could be a great long week end.
Cheers

Re: what modern seats fit best in a 2 door
Hi Chris If you are still looking I have a couple of old grey Metro front seats if you are interested. They are dirty, but should clean up well, there are no tears. You can easily get the sub frames and I can dig out the suppliers name if you need it. I can't help with the rear ones though. Regards ...

Hi If you are still looking I have had my 2 door resprayed over here in Nottingham for £2,000 and that included some repair and refurb. The 2 lads were very professional and helpful, they even invoiced less than the initial "guestimate quote", and thats a first in my experience. I am very ...

Advice Requested on Convertible Hood and Frame
Hi Having worked on my 2 door saloon last year (picture below) I am nearing the end of a restoration of a much neglected SII saloon previously converted to a soft top. (I guess I have now got the moggie bug) The existing frame is well past its best and the heavy canvas top in need of some TLC. So I ...

Frames to fit metro seats to a 2 door 1966 saloon
Hi
I understand that you need to get some frames that fit underneath the metro seats so that they can go in the Moggie. Can anyone tell me where you can buy them and what sort of cost they are
Many Thanks
Keith

Help & Advice re Convertible welding
Hi I am new to this and would welcome some help and advice. I have purchased a rather tatty convertible as a renovation project. I am suspicious it is a saloon conversion. When I look at the gap on the doors it is tight at the bottom but almost half an inch at the top, which suggests to me the chass...
