I need to order some 8" front brake shoes, while looking at the usual suppliers I can see plenty for sale, but I have also seen some with Mintex in the description These are more expensive than what seems to be ordinary brake shoes, could any one let me know please what the difference is between the...

Re: Contaminated fuel

Hi CJ At the moment I have got about half a tank of unleaded in Bessie, would i be ok just to add Super unleaded to this or would i be better off letting the level in the petrol tank get down to say a quarter full before putting some in I've never used Super unleaded before, would it have any effect...

Re: Just bought car, switched headlights and car cut out - Fixed

Well done Paddy, she looks a nice car

It's not uncommon for a Minor to throw a spanner in the works when you buy one, I had a problem with the drivers door lock just after I got mine

Post up some more pictures when you get a chance

Re: MMOC RAC Breakdown cover

I've just recently signed up with Start Rescue, one thing you can do with them is down load an app to your phone, should you break down you just click the button, it sends a message to them and with the gps from your phone they know where you are. They then send you a text to say how long they would...

Re: Busy Weekend

Thanks Mike

They came with the metal base which fastens straight on to the original brackets and just needs new holes drilling for the rear brackets

Not sure if they are MGB ones that have been recovered but they are very comfortable :-)

Busy Weekend

I had a busy weekend with Bessie, my mate fitted new rear brake shoes and new front Newton Commercial seats What a difference these make, the old seats after half an hour would give you back ache (I do struggle with a bad back), but the NC ones are really comfy Not only are they comfy but you can mo...
