Boot Lid Seal
Hi guys, Just bought myself a new fibre glass bootlid for my morris, ordered up a boot seal from ESM while I was at it, the old boot never had a seal on it, hence the need for a new boot, as the old one is nothing but rust.... According to ESM, I attach the seal to the bootlid itself, not the bodywo...

Removing Fuel tank sender unit?!
Hi Guys, Looking for a bit of help, got a wee faulty fuel gauge, used a 12v tester and deduced that the sender unit itself is faulty, thought I'd try taking him out and having a look/clean to see if that helps, if not replace it with a new one. Problem.... After removing all six screws, I then can't...

Re: Wiring Front Flasher/sidelights??
ok, I've tried cleaning all the earth connectors, they're gleaming, but still exactly the same response, RH flasher works, LH doesn't, No sidelights AT ALL. I did that test with the wire to the earth on the battery, and the lights didn't light up, does this mean it's a power related problem rather t...

Re: Wiring Front Flasher/sidelights??
Ok, So a piece of wire on the earth on the battery, to the lamp bodies, should make them light, both the sidelight bulb and the indicator?
And if they don't its a power problem, but if they do it's earth....
What do I do if it's earth!?
Thanks for being so useful!

Re: Wiring Front Flasher/sidelights??
The Sideflasher on the edge of the wing on LH side is flashing meaning theres power, and the wires seem to be going from there towards the front flasher, so why won't it flash!!!!

Re: Wiring Front Flasher/sidelights??
I've got the RH Flasher going (not the sidelight though)
But I can't get the LH to do anything, no response at all.....
Very confused and frustrated, I'm a newbie at all this mechanics stuff as it is, and electrics definitely aren't my strong point!
