Re: MG to start production in Longbridge....

From comments on another forum I frequent, the MG6 seems to be screwed together pretty well - certainly better so than in the final few years of MGR. They look to be decently specc'd and competitivly priced for the market segment they are going for, and if I was in the market for a new car I'd certa...

Re: jelous vandalizers

I've noticed quite a few scuffs today when cleaning the car that weren't there 3 weeks ago, just peoples carelessness and opening doors onto others in carparks etc but really annoying!

I think I can claim the slowest anybody has been done in a Morris Minor  - I was done for 35 in a 30 Zone the other week! Worse thing is that the Speed Awareness Course you can take instead of points is now £95...crime doesn't pay, folks. The range for being eligible to take the course...

Re: Longer Choke cable woes

Hi Danny, It seems to me that BMC was trying to help in his own unique way, I too am not convinced by your choice of carb but see how it goes once its on the road! Threads on these forums often go slightly off topic so dont worry about it too much, or get upset. As for the choke, I had a spectuacuar...

I dont have access to a wiring diagram right now, does anyone know if the horn is on the permanent, or switched live circuit?

(I know the horn itself if switched earth)

Whilst I agree that charging for changes is unfair (other industries dont do it) I'm afraid to say this thread is in breach of T&Cs...

Re: Carpet pattern

I do have a partial carpet set in light blue if its of any use to you, all you need to do is come pick it up!

From memory, its basicly the footwell sections - front and rear that I have - so you'd need to do something with the wheel arches and transmission tunnel.

I've got led zep going at the mo :D led zepplin .. and when that cd has finished you can get back to the decent music  Went for Dropkick Murphys and the Wildhearts this morning 8) as for wheels the only ones...

Re: Cheap modifications

Hi Ben. It depends what you are looking to do really! Im guessing from your post that you are pretty young and a new driver (first car kinda gives it away) the best advice I can give you is make sure that the car is in tip-top standard condition and get used to driving it then decide what you want a...

Re: jelous vandalizers

Most of my cars look so shabby that they think they've already been done over and dont try again  The old fiesta did get nudged by a bus when it was outside my then house (the proof was the red & beige paint that was left behind) and of course no note etc - but only very minor and not worth...

Any ideas how you can tell what key number mates to an ignition barrel? Neither of Agathas keys are stamped
