We found this a few years ago and have seen the odd one since in garden centres.

We use Bridgestone B381 Ecopia 145/80 R14 on our Traveller and have never had a problem. The last one we bought following a puncture was £62.50 including fitting and VAT but that was 4 years ago.

As a test I shoved a lump of Blue-Tac to wedge the card in and hold the retaining flap in place. Not elegant and it may fail when the Blue-Tac hardens but it was still okay this morning.
