The end is peened over so it depends if you want to keep and re-use the pin or not. My issue was keeping the pin in, not getting it out, so I didn't have a problem. If yours is like mine you could probably tap it out. Failing that you could file or grind the end off.

Mine arrived as well this morning with the rest of the week's post in one enormous pile.

We're only getting our post once a week at the moment and then a huge pile arrives at once, so I'm looking forward to the next issue.

I've always charged my modern cars without disconnecting the battery and no obvious ill effects so far.

We use a Saxon Stoplock Original which we got from Argos, but I guess it might depend on exactly which steering wheel you have.

I had oil drip from the air cleaner after the engine had been run. My breather system seemed to be fine as far as I could see so in the end I just put a loop in the pipe to the air cleaner. That sorted the problem (although you will note the piece of paper towel underneath just in case).

I use the Pertronix electronic ignition in our 1098 Traveller and have had no issues. It will be matched to Flamethrower coil if I ever get round to changing it but it works fine with the standard coil so I haven't bothered too much.
