Morris Junior Dormobile.

Hi all,

Its my dads birthday coming up soon and I wondered if anyone had any information on Morris Junior Dormobiles ( a Morris minor van with a folding bed in the back) in the form of pictures or books as My dad seemed quite keen to find out more.

Re: my 1968 4 door saloon

Well done on finding your old car, my dad managed to do the same with my Grandads MGB although it is in remarcably worse condition.

Re: Replacing seats What do you do?

thinking about it my Dad has successfully fitted some MGF seats in red to his convertible so perhaps I should just get some of them to re colour. although the leather/vynal combo on these seats would make hard work.

Re: Hi there!

Thanks wibble for the advice, Restoration wise I think I will be keeping it simple to start with although I would like to put a 1275 engine and 5 speed box in I doubt money will allow that, Disk breaks and hopefully better seats are also on the cards but it should be fairly original Frankly I don't ...

Re: Replacing seats What do you do?

I am afraid I don't have a picture of the metro seats, they are grey and the material has rips and is worn in places I have a 4 door moggy so in that respect tipping doesn't matter.

Replacing seats What do you do?

Hi there, I have been looking into getting some new seats for my moggy and I have been considering these options but I'd also like to know what you do. Currently I have some metro seats but there a bit grotty and don't go with the interior so I was looking at getting some re-covered but I don't know...

Re: Hi there!

I have some Metro seats for my minor to but the fabric is pretty poor, I was thinking about getting some re-covered but the cost are probable prohibitive. I was also looking at getting some leather seats re-coloured but I don't kn ow much about that. This is my car: http://i286.photobucket.com/album...

Hi there!

Hi all, I have browsed this forum for a good while so i thought it was high time I joined! Now a little about me, first of all I must say that it was inevitable that I was going to be into Minors, my Dad owning one since he was 21 and my late Grandfather also had one when he was younger, I am happy ...
