Re: Morris Minor " Lady Owner Last 25 Years" What Does It Mean.

I struggle to believe, especially on this forum, that in 2014 people still feel that it's acceptable to make sexist chauvinistic comments. Attempting to cover such comments with 'just joking' and the like is, really, just unacceptable.

The bottle was given to me by a friend of a friend, who is no longer available to contact. I'm now left in the situation were I have no idea where to get hold of some gas, ...

I believe it is the way in which certain members post their replies, that is causing the issues across the site!

Re: Head Gasket failure

Lovely job. My radiator developed a small hole before i took Merlin off the road, i soldered it initially then coated it in a similar substance! Excuse my ignorance BUT will you have to completely dismantle the engine to skim the block?

Re: After nine years time for me to go.

This is the problem with the 'anonymous mask' the internet provides. I completely agree with you that, granted a very select few, take it upon themselves to upset/agitate other members! However i don't think leaving is the answer, it is up to the administration to do something about it. :)

I believe that you would be best advised to remove said varnish first :)

Re: Merlin the traveller restoration

Hi all, thanks for all the comments etc :D

I'm soon going to have to use some body filler for a bit of smoothing, to be followed by some temporary painting!
Any suggestion or perhaps guides? Thanks!
