Re: Anyone know "831 AJO"

The prototype 1000 convertible from 1956 had an AJO reg, it now belongs to a club member. What is your chassis number? It is likely to be a very early 1000.

Re: Is this a joke?

I have seen genuine 1959 Champion Mini Plug caps sell for over £200 a set. Bit like the Mini glass screen washer bottles that fetch over £400 they were only fitted for a very short time.

Jeff
Was the MMM plate the original UK registration. If so probably supplied by Stewart and Arden in London.
We have lots of odd early parts in the club spares stock so if there is anything you are finding hard to locate please contact me.

Re: Selling stuff on ebay

Be careful when selling stuff on ebay to be posted. Since last month Ebay have charged commission on postage charges so now just to cover the real postage charge you need to add about 15% to cover the Ebay & Paypal charges and that is before the cost of any packaging. Also dont get caught out by the...

Does anyone know who bought the 1951 Tourer in rough condition that sold on ebay last Friday from Leicestershire? Seller told me that chassis number was SMM19xxxx which could not be right for an early 51.
