Re: How to post a photo

Velly strange - the upgrade is code based only. Okay, do me a favour, email me that picture, the one you tried to upload, to admin@mmoc.org.uk. And point me to the version of it you successfully uploaded previously. I have no idea how that can have happened, but I'll get to the bottom of it!

Re: How to post a photo

Your comments above are appreciated yet don't explain why I cannot attach a photo anymore which is exactly the same size as the ones I was previously able to attach. I can see that you can attach a photo because it is smaller and I imagine that I could as well. However, having already reduced the s...

Re: Mmoc Site changed ?

There's a thread in the 'Probs with the board' forum - could you please post any issues there so I can just check one place for things that need addressing, cheers. I'm not aware of anything changing which could affect uploads and I've posted a pic myself today to check, so please help me help you b...

Re: Upgrade 28/03/18

Another issue. Unless I'm not seeing it, there doesn't appear to be the option to quote another post any more It is still there 'bear' (I've just used it to reply to you) but the icons inside the boxes have disappeared. It will not be a serious problem, likely nothing more than misaddressing, and I...

Re: How to post a photo

Yup, the forum received an update to the most recent stable version during the evening a couple of nights ago. This was a security update issued by phpbb which addressed a number of vulnerabilities identified in older versions, including the one we were running. If you experience any difficulties, p...

Re: 1275 midget advance curve...

What are rolling road fees like these days Phil? I've used Southam Mini Metro Centre a couple of times who tune A Series lumps for racing. Last summer they were in the order of £230 if memory serves me correct, took them about two, maybe two and a half, hours work on the car. Impressed with the res...

Messages stay in your outbox until the person they are sent to opens them. Only once they are read do they move to your sent items

Re: MDX 614 - Smoke grey two door saloon

Wasn't me! The ladies email had a space between the numbers and the G, and that's where her ipad's word processor chose to insert a line break. The 'G' was there all along, it had just wrapped to another line and thus you didn't spot it :-? I didn't either, which is why I edited the original post an...

Re: why lock a post

Hello Budgie The reason the post was locked is that it has several times gone away from the subject of 'how to post pictures' into unfortunate differences of opinion. Other people will doubtless go searching for 'how to post pictures' in the future, and it's of no use for them to wade through people...

Could not have put it better! Hear hear. There are no bad guys here. Most give of their expertise freely, whether mechanical or in IT, and we all get cross from time to time with computers, cars and occasionally each other. Such is life. Thank you Brian. Frustrations with crippling levels of inerti...
