Took my morris minor engine out today. Took the hole front of the car and one engine mount. Will I have to take the engine mount tower out to get the engine back in cheers Den

Started to clean some parts to go back on the car

L have a few issues that I have put on this site thanks for all the help. The first problem was no lights on the dash board ie clock loose wire and bad connections. Done all the above and yes we have the solenoid working from the key. Engine turns ok. Will try to get engine running on Monday when I'm of work. Many thanks Den

Yes there is power to the red and white wire I'll take the solenoid of tomorrow and see if it has a good earth.

When I turn the key there is nothing no click or any noise. Put a screw driver across the terminals and the engine turned over. But when I turn the key nothing. Will this just mean I need a new solenoid. Many thanks Den

Still not starting no click on solenoid. Power is getting there but will not work. Put a screw driver across the terminals and it turns the car over but nothing when I turn the key. Any help would be great. Who it mean I just need a new solenoid many thanks.

When turning the key there is nothing on the the solenoid no noise nothing.

The point that were in were no good very worn. So I took all the parts out and put original su petrol pump in didn't work. I've just found another hardi pump with good points so I'll just use them. Many thanks Den

Going to change wings some I had for a while. Sanded and primed read to go on.

Next job all new brake cylinders all round. Can't see any of them being free after 16 years. Changed the solenoid and starter motor.
