Re: Need Your Help for University Project!

Hi Kerri, Sounds an interesting and unique project, I'm sure there are club members who would be more than willing to help, many of whom will not be on the message board. If you contact the club head office in Derby I am sure they will be delighted to pass your details on to some branches not far fr...

Unfortunately that won't stop the document being used to change a stolen cars identity.

Yes, historic vehicle road tax is based on the date the car was manufactured rather than when it was registered.

Re: Hello

Hello and welcome. Are you sure you want to change to an age related number? The army minors have a distinctive history of their own and having a registration from when they passed into civilian use is surely part of that. Thanks for the reply, this was indeed something that I had also initially po...

Re: Shock Absorber oil?

Yes it is. That's what he said to use. Warm it in boiling water to soften it, then put it in. Mind you, he's not an expert on MM, so I thought I'd check with 'the pros'. Your absolutely right to check, the simple answer is don't do it, as Cam said you would be taking the dampers and their associate...

Re: Supermarket petrol.

Looks like I stirred up a hornets nest here. Not sure if I'm any the wiser! It's a discussion that I think could have you going in circles. :D My experience is that my Minor seems to run better on a premium (higher octane) unleaded, my modern Saab 9-3 Turbo seems to run the same on Tesco unleaded o...

Well if you ever end up at the petrol station further down the road it's the pump nearest the door you need.

Re: Supermarket petrol.

The trick our local petrol station next to Manchester Airport uses is to have unleaded and diesel on their board at a very competitive price and then only have them for sale at one pump. Their premium unleaded is the only petrol available at the other five pumps at a very uncompetitive price, they d...

log book sales

I reported an log book for a 1959 Traveller being sold on a well known auction site two days ago and it is still for sale. The interesting thing is that the seller has 11 for sale in total for various classics some with MOT certificates. I know this is an old subject and as I understand it not illeg...

10 years, where did they go?

Sad I know but I've just noticed it's 10 years ago today that I joined the Messageboard.

Two things spring to mind.
1) Where did they go?
2) Do I get a badge? :D
