Re: Re-registering a 6 chr number plate?

If the plate is worth £3-4k to your wife then offer that for the car, then put the car in a classic car auction and any money back is a bonus. If they still won't move on price pay if your happy to and any money back at auction will get you back towards your £3-4k hopefully your wife gets what she w...

Re: Need Your Help for University Project!

Hi Kerri, Sounds an interesting and unique project, I'm sure there are club members who would be more than willing to help, many of whom will not be on the message board. If you contact the club head office in Derby I am sure they will be delighted to pass your details on to some branches not far fr...

Yes, historic vehicle road tax is based on the date the car was manufactured rather than when it was registered.

Re: Hello

Hello and welcome. Are you sure you want to change to an age related number? The army minors have a distinctive history of their own and having a registration from when they passed into civilian use is surely part of that. Thanks for the reply, this was indeed something that I had also initially po...

Yes it is. That's what he said to use. Warm it in boiling water to soften it, then put it in. Mind you, he's not an expert on MM, so I thought I'd check with 'the pros'. Your absolutely right to check, the simple answer is don't do it, as Cam said you would be taking the dampers and their associate...

Looks like I stirred up a hornets nest here. Not sure if I'm any the wiser! It's a discussion that I think could have you going in circles. :D My experience is that my Minor seems to run better on a premium (higher octane) unleaded, my modern Saab 9-3 Turbo seems to run the same on Tesco unleaded o...
