Ive done rhe other side but unfortunately i got some wd40 on the rubber seat and even though I havent over tightened the rubber has splayed out Removed them and cleaned off the lubricant but still they splay out when tightened I may have to refit the old ones which are polyurethane. i didnt want to ...

I have now removed the lowering kit.
Tightening the u bolts by feel more than anything as the rubber seats are being compressed.
Does it look ok ?

Got the gaskets from ESM and there some mention of the thick ess being correct
I think the o es that were fitted were thicker
With regard to the fli g the car if o a level surfave in both planes
I can only assume the casting tolerance is the reason

Found my gaskets bot its strange to me that they overlap the rubber seal thats fitted
Also I put a litre of ep90 GL4 in and it still isnt full..

So this is the one i have taken off which is standard i believe. All was going well .Fitted the new diff. Went to fit the prop shaft and found that the flange on the diff is distorted. Looking at it now , a blind man on a galloping horse couldnt of missed it but I did. Decided to take the flangevoff...

Well the nut came off relatively easily in tbe end I made up something to hold/ fix the flang Removing and replacing the seal also has gone smoothly I do have a torque wrench that will go up to 140lbf and I suspect it was alot less than this prior to removal So busy weekend ahead putting the diff ba...

Had a good look at this now What I have noticed is that the bump stop has been cut off straight/ parallel to the axle I have looked at pictures of new ones and they are shaped similar to a cam which I think would give significantly more give than the current squzre shape. Just looking at the pics you posted I can see one of the triggers is loose on mine. The pin on which the trigger pivots in is higher and consequently the triggee is just spinning. The triangular triggers in mine are loose
rhey sit on pegs which are also a different heights and inotice in your pics tbe are identical

If the rear has been lowered the front has most likely been lowered too.
