check the engine steady bar as well on the move mine rattled so bad on acceleration, turned was both slack steady bar and mis balanced prop. very easy to replace 4 bolts then pull.

My LHD lowlight hasn't even got a lock on the drivers side, just on the passenger side
thats because lasey factory workers could be bothered fitting one on the other side. is suppose ive answered my own question. couldnt be bothered answers a lot of things.

I wonder why 4 doors having 4 doors only have 1 door lock, where as 2 doors have a lock on either side. should all travellers not have a lock on either side?

M/AW 3 D 940856 chassi number relates to morris, a serie4s engine, traveller series 3 delux. so before 1963 1098. sorry cant recall mm or series 2 chassis numbers and codes.

my mate has just bought floor planels from MGM and they seem to be quite good. Couldnt help you with wings thought. I have an illness that makes me feel sick at the thought of spending £90 on a wing, so I got 4 good secondhand ones 2 years ago aot the national for £80 the lot. Hadrans sill sections ...

Im tall aswell 6 5 and i find seatbelts are more irritating in a 2 door as its lower down on a 4 door its higher up so more comfortable.

are you sure its teh dynamo and not the regulator on the bulkhead, brothers wouldnt start in the mornings as the regulator wasnt allowingg the dynamo to charge the battery. red light on all the time

Its does seem to form a better seal and isnt as difficult to fit, but for originality the bootlid mounted one is the one to have.

if the travellers been updated to the 1098cc drive train then it will read wrong. An early 1000 speedo (same colour but is slightly different face) will read right. doesnt look out of place. Have a look at teh gear box, if its ribbed then is 1000.
