Spot weld drill question

Hi
I run a bodyshop and find the drill bits last longer at a slower speed and also you can be more accurate when drilling through the piece you are taking off and leaving the piece staying behind intact,at high speed you will be inclined to go through both pieces which you dont want to happen

A very good idea as on-going projects seem to crop up anywhere and they are such an interesting read and source of information
I second that idea

gearbox tailshaft seal

Hi all
Does anyone know if the seal for the gearbox tailshaft is the same as the pinion seal on the axle on a sidevalve 53 MM, as I bought a spare when I was replacing the pinion seal and need to replace the tailshaft seal on the gearbox.

thanks Ian

workshop tool,s what do i need

Hi
Try Williamsons
http://www.whitworthspanners.com/
They often have sets of spanners and sockets which are secondhand
I got three of the tappet spanners for my side valve MM and a set of spanners and sockets
Give them a try

leaking petrol tank

bmcecosse If I had the forsight to know that the tank would start leaking one and a half weeks after receiving the trim for the car of course I would have prioritised the purchase of a new tank instead of prioritising the trim, but then if I had the forsight i would buy a lottery ticket and win the ...
